Country profiles from the book:

The elves travel to different countries. If you'd like to learn more about a country, you'll find a profile of it here.

It also contains interesting information for older children and adults, such as about the economy. If that doesn't interest you, you don't need to pay attention to it. Just choose what you like.

Country Quiz - a game for one or more players:

Would you like to play a "Country Quiz"? All you need are small slips of paper (or the back of a piece of cardboard from old packaging), a pen, and the fact sheets about the animals.

1. On the first pile of slips, write the headings from the left column of the fact sheets that you want to ask about, for example "Capital", "Language", "Population" and more.

2. On the second pile of slips, write the "Name of the Country" individually, e.g., Denmark.

3. Place the two piles face down next to each other. The first player draws a card from each pile and asks you the quiz question, for example: "What is the capital of Denmark?"

The second player gives the answer: "Copenhagen!" Then it's the other player's turn.

It also works well to play the game alone. This way, you can playfully test your knowledge of the countries you've learned from the fact sheets.

Or you can ask an adult to act as a quizmaster, drawing all the slips of paper while you answer them all. Alternatively, a quizmaster can quiz several players simultaneously, and the first player to answer correctly gets a point in the country quiz.

You can also play the other way around: the quizmaster reads out an answer without revealing the country. You then try to guess which country it is. For example: "The capital of the country in question is Copenhagen!" You then answer: "Denmark!"
